Scoring and Rounds
We have prepared some useful downloads to help with doing scored rounds: a cribsheet to the range of rounds available (outdoor and indoor) and a guide to filling-in a scoresheet
Scoresheets can be found in the clubhouse or may be downloaded below, Select the one with the same number of distance(s) as the round you are shooting.
Remember to submit signed (archer & scorer) scoresheets to the Records Office
e.g. for WA 70m,
Portsmouth, WA 18m, Brays
e.g. for Warwicks, Nationals, Westerns,
Long Metrics, Short Metrics
e.g. for York / Hereford / Bristols,
St George / Albion / Windsors,
WA 1440
Handicaps
Your score on a recognised round translates to a handicap value - higher scores mean lower handicap values. Once you have shot and submitted 3 rounds, the records officer can calculate your personal handicap - this is then updated (by the records officer) as you continue to shoot and submit scored rounds. You get separate handicaps for indoors and outdoors, and for different bowstyles (e.g. recurve and longbow).
Classifications
Bespoke Classification Reference : use this spreadsheet to get your own bespoke reference . Select your age, gender and bowstyle to get a table of classification scores for all possible (outdoor) rounds.
